Big Day on the Big "O"!

Today I fished with Robert & Butch, they are in Florida doing a cabinet installation job in West Palm Beach and decided to see if fishing Lake Okeechobee was as good as they had heard. Their answer would be a resouinding yes!. We left the bait store with 8 dozen wild shiners in anticipation of spending 8 hours on the lake catching bass. We were back at the bait store in 5 hours after catching 67 bass. Once again we got into a large school of fish and the catching was fast and furious, most were in the 2 lb range. We caught three fish in the 4 lb class & two 5lbers, the big fish on this day was 7lb 3oz. The fishing continues to be very, very good.
