July 26 2017 the air temperature was 88 degrees at 9am and the water temperature was 87 degrees, but obviously this big Bass did not care she ate a large shiner and ended up posing for this photo before she was released to fisht another day, The point of this story is you never know when one of Okeechobee's giant bass is going to eat your bait! March Fishing Report for Lake Okeechobee

      Long time client Earl Trotter caught another big Bass, he has caught a lot of them with us through the years. The next day he caught 81 Shellcrackers to top off a great couple days of catching!

Bass, Blue Gill and Shell Crackers are all on the menu for March and April if you just love to catcyh fish now is the time to visit us and enjoy the catching. Many days we will start with shiner fishing just to see if we can put our clients on a big trophy sized Okeechobee Bass and then once that slows down we move on to catching panfish. Whether it's big blue gill or shell crackers it doesn't matter, these fish fight like crazy and are very tasty table fare! Kids and adults alike will enjoy just plain old catching fish!

Day after Cold Front, Big Bass!

       Long time client and friend John Wason from Mass proved that not all Florida Bass get lockjaw after a cold front. They will still eat those big shiners!

Super Bowl Sunday and Trophy Bass!

John Wason from Ma. caught this giant trophy bass on Super Bowl Sunday using a live wild shiner! He even has on his Patriots sweatshirt. These guys have fished with us every year for the past 12 years, and have caught a lot of big bass in the process.

      John Stockwell from Canada and his grandson spent the morning fishing with us and both caught big Bass!.
