Big "O" Report

Today I fished 2 Hoosiers once again, It marks the third time in the last two weeks I have had Fishermen from Indiana, obviously the state of Indiana is a fishing bunch. As with the last three weeks or so, we started our fishing day in an area of moving water, the fish bit well today and we caught 17 fish in the first 1/1/2 hours. The biggest fish of the day went to Aaron , the younger of my 2 companions for the day, he boated an 8lb 2oz Okeechobee bass that was his biggest bass ever! His friend Ken then boated a 6lb 4oz bass which more or less ended our bite. We then proceeded to the main lake, where we fished an area of catails about the size of a house, with water hyacinths blown up and stuck within the reeds. We caught 12 fish on the first 12 shiners that we threw into this hole, with a grand total for the day of 47 bass. All in all it was a great 4 hour trip on the Big "O".
