Guess who's eating your shiner?

When you fish with shiners on Lakem Okeechobee you never know who is coming to dinner, this 25 inch Snook gulped a shiner and put up an incredible fight    before coming to boatside for a quick picture. This particular shiner spot has provided lots of Bass, Snook, Tarpon and Sunshiner Bass, it's a very unique spot.

Okeechobee Fishing Report

Sometimes Bass Fishing on Lake Okeechobee is about more than catching big bass! Ethan and his best fishing buddy Christopher had a great day of fishing, catching bass on an old school red shad culprit worm. The early morning spinner bait bite in the Kissimmee Grass around King's Bar and along the Buckhead Ridge grassline is still producing, white skirted willow leaf blades are drawing numerous strikes, many quality fish are in the mix, chasing shad in the grass and eating our spinner baits as they pass overhead! Once the sun gets well up into the sky a slower approach with a plastic worm or senko will continue to produce.
